Quality rules

VoxHouse processes are quality focused - including preparing source text for translation; vetting, selecting and instructing translators; managing terminology for accuracy and consistency; checking and revising all translations, and ensuring that our clients' requirements are met in full.

Our system uses continuous Quality Control Processes to monitor quality and accuracy throughout every stage of a translation project.

Step 1: Careful translator selection
Translators are screened not only for linguistic ability but also for technical knowledge.
Applicants take tests in their area of expertise – they must pass interviews and rigourous subject-specific language tests. Furthermore all our translators must be able to demonstrate a track record of more than 5 years experience. VoxHouse requires all translators to complete a checklist before any translation is sent back to us.

Step 2: Editing
Each translated document is edited by a second translator to insure accuracy and address issues of linguistic nuance. Again, the work is assigned to a specialist according to subject matter.

Step 3: Proof-reading
At VoxHouse the translation service process goes one step further with a final Quality Assurance step. A third translator proof-reads the document, this review confirms that editing changes and formatting were properly implemented, and that there are no omissions or typographical errors. Every translation is checked word for word against the original and any changes that are required are implemented so as to ensure that the proper terminology is used consistently throughout the entire document.
